Connect the second battery cabinet's battery cable terminated in an Anderson connector to the fixed mating Anderson connector located on the first battery cabinet.
A lower voltage, 12V, if working with high wattage would produce too much current. If more power is needed, instead of buying thicker and thicker wire, it may make more sense just to use a higher-voltage system. Above 480W, it may make more sense just to upgrade to a 24V battery system and not deal with such high current.
Remove the front cover from the battery cabinet by loosening the top two captive fasteners and lifting the cover up and out of the battery cabinet. Slide the battery tray out of the battery cabinet until it stops. Place the batteries inside the battery tray oriented as shown in Figure 8. Place the provided spacers between the batteries.
So for a 12V battery power system with a cable of 8 AWG, we do not want to exceed 480W. Above 480W, we want to increase the battery voltage our system uses, so that we can decrease the current. With 480W with a 24V system, we only use 20A instead of 40A with the 12V system.
